Handmade, traditional pasta with the absolute essence of Chios island.
World-renowned Chios Mastiha. Produced with care.
Store in a cool, dry place.

We prepare our traditional handmade pasta with passion and care, inspired by traditional recipes and local ingredients. Maintaining the golden ratio even in pasta, we combine tradition and innovation by incorporating the unique mastiha from Chios into coarse semolina and water. Our pasta will satisfy even the most demanding palates.

One of the oldest spices, probably the most charming in the Mediterranean area, gives our pasta intense flavor that brings back memories of Greek summers. Turn even the simplest recipe into a gourmet delight and enjoy the beneficial properties of Chios Mastiha in every meal.

From Chios and only in Chios

In the East Aegean Sea, somewhere on the crossroad between East and West, on the island of Chios, mastiha, a legendary product, has been cultivated since Ancient Times. It is connected to traditions, historical events and cultural exchanges, unchanged to this day, sculpted within the culture of the Eastern Mediterranean. It is more powerful than ever, thanks to its scientifically proven beneficial and unique therapeutic properties. It is no coincidence that in 2014 the process of cultivating mastiha has been included by UNESCO on its Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

    Recipe.

Place a large pot of water on the stove. Once the water is boiling, add the pasta and cook for 5-6min and then drain.  To keep pasta from sticking, stir gently only during the first minute of cooking. Meanwhile, heat butter (100g) in a frying pan and add 250g of fresh or dried sliced fruits, a tsp. of sugar and a pinch of salt and pepper. Try it with fresh or dried figs, pears, apricots or even strawberries. Stir for a few minutes and add 100ml of white wine and 20ml of Mastiha liqueur. Add 500ml of dairy cream and 250g of cream cheese (preferably Katiki Domokou). Add the cooked pasta to the pan, add some sunflower seeds (or any other type of seeds or nuts of your choice), fresh spearmint, serve and enjoy!
