- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk or buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup melted butter
- Zest of one orange
- 150g - 200g cream cheese fresh
Hit the egg whites in a meringue.
Put all other ingredients in another bowl, gently stir the cheese and butter until combined. Add the meringue and gently combined them with a marigold.
Preheat a flat griddle over medium-high heat and add a little butter. Scoop 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto the griddle. Let pancakes cook until bubbles form before flipping.
Cook another side until golden brown.
Serve hot with syrup of your choice or honey, a spoonful of yoghurt and fresh fruit of your taste, such as blackberries etc
