The next extensively "aged" harvest of Samos Nectar has finally arrived. From the well-known Muscat of Samos, a sweet wine of great aging capacity that excited the most famous wine author Jancis Robinson leading to grade it with the amazing 19/20. While the organoleptic characteristics remain at the same level (as with the older 1970), this dark sweet this wine has exceptional aromatic richness reminiscent of currant, apricot, plum, orange and cinnamon, butter caramel and coffee notes. The acidity of the wine remains perceptible and in combination with the sweetness gives a balanced mouth, which manages to remain elegant, despite years. Fruit flavors, nuts and caramel are also present in the palate, while the long aftertaste confirms the quality and capabilities of "Muscat De Samos".
