Store olive oil in a dark cupboard or pantry, away from windows, direct sunlight and heat sources. A cool environment of 14–18°C is described as ideal. Reseal the cap tightly after use to minimise air exposure, and keep the oil away from damp conditions and strong odours. Refrigeration is not necessary and may cause harmless clouding or solidifying.
