Memecik olives are hand-harvested from four orchards spanning over 500 acres and cool-pressed within 6-8 hours on a family-owned, modern state-of-the-art Mori-Tem olive oil mill (highly respected in the industry)
Oro di Milas EVOO is produced from Memecik variety olives cultivated organically in the mountains of Milas Turkiye. The olives are picked in the morning and processed in the afternoon with cold extraction. The milling takes place in the company's newly built olive oil mill using the Italian MORITEM equipment.
Sensory profile
A magnificent monovarietal Memecik juice that begins the olfactory phase with an intense aroma of green olives and freshly cut grass. Among its olfactory nuances are tomato leaf, green apple, and almond. It culminates with a reminder of the aromatic herbs of the countryside.
On the palate, it reveals olive fruit, leaves, herbs, and green almonds. Offers an appropriate bitterness & spiciness with a very pleasant aftertaste. A great EVOO! Complex, harmonious and long-lasting!
