Tasting of the most eloquently smokey Cabernet Sauvignon, our Kapnias Red wine is collected only from the best grapes from the vineyard Zygos (450 meters altitude). With a high concentration in flavor and high acidity, this wine is also aged for 24 months in French oak barriques, resulting in an elegant, complex, flavorful, and full-bodied wine. Its aging potential goes up to 20-30 years making it also a one-of-a-kind choice.

The oak is quite dominant but is balanced by the fruity character and spices creating a plethora of flavors in your palate. This balanced and complex wine is also high in tannins, which combination creates a wonderful aftertaste as well. Its aging potential gives the wine many potential tertiary aromas, including plum, tobacco, mushrooms, and coffee.
