By origin, we are part Greek and part Italian. In our search for the ideal “topos” for our venture, we became enchanted by the Ermionida peninsula. The land we chose for our olive groves is in the hills above the seaside town of Ermioni in the Peloponesse, Greece.
A magnificent natural area that stole our hearts, and where we decided to locate our estate. The scenic hills above the ancient town of Ermioni offer optimal growing conditions due to low rainfalls, so the area is ideally suited for the cultivation of indigenous Greek olive cultivars along with selected Mediterranean varieties.
Ootopia means Olive Oil topos (place). A utopia is an imagined, idealized place that possesses highly desirable or nearly perfect qualities for its inhabitants. In our ootopia, we have created the ideal place where we can produce our olive oil. Our vision is to create a world-leading olive oil estate that will produce a range of exceptional extra virgin olive oils with distinct organoleptic characteristics
Our olive varieties are Greek, Italian and Spanish because, at heart, we are not EVOO nationalists, but EVOO perfectionists. Our Premium Olive Oils are finishing oils. Our aim is to have a range of olive oils that will pair with different dishes.
Our EVOO has received 20 gold awards, participating in 7 international competitions, in 2022, including Japan JOOP, New York NYIOOC, London IOOC, and a design award for our packaging, at Japan JOOP.
